Remember That Song – 3/12/18

Great news everybody! We are having Remember That Song this week! A big thank you to Del Roehling for stepping up and helping us keep this series going! Here is a little about Del:

I graduated from high school in 1988, so I grew up on 80s music, movies, television, politics, etc. Even though I have always stayed current with mainstream music, I have always preferred the music of the 80s. About a year ago, I was offered the opportunity to host an 80s radio show on my former high school’s station and jumped at the opportunity. It’s “The 80s at 8” and airs every Saturday and Sunday from 8am-9am on radio station WEDM (can be streamed on the station’s app, the Tunein app, and the NextRadio app). I am always trying to learn about the artists, the stories behind the songs, facts about movies and televisions shows, and the history of the decade.

If you are on Facebook, you can follow Del’s radio show at You can also go to WEDM, and find “The 80s at 8” radio show. And as Del mentioned, you can also find the show in the Tunein and NextRadio apps.

Now, let’s get to the song…

Can you name the artist and song:

Got to lock it up and throw away the key
You want to hold on to your possessions, don’t even think about me

It’s been so long since I last posted a song, so we’ll start over here. You can leave your answer in the comments below (even if somebody else answered). Come back tomorrow for a new song, and to find out the answer.

Radical Reviews!

I am so totally excited, yes like an 80's high school girl, to get to listen every day to the music that carried me through all the teenage woes. I greatly appreciate the variety in the music selection too!! Of course I enjoy your awesome morning and afternoon DJ's, they do an excellent job!! Thanks so much and keep up the totally awesome job!!!! Thanks for listening! Sharmon Oujiri
